The namaz-e-janaza of six people, who were killed in a road crash in Barishal, was held on the premises of East Krishnapur Nachher Market under Gazipur City Corporation on Friday morning.

Thousands of people from all walks of life attended the janaza held around 10.30am. Later, the deceased were buried at their respective family graveyards.

According to sources, a total of 23 people with two microbuses went to visit Padma Bridge and Kuakata sea beach.

But one of the microbuses fell into an accident in Shikarpur area of Dhaka-Barishal highway on Thursday noon, leaving the casualties.
